For me!

Once upon a time, I started a blanket with the intention of making a king sized knitted blanket.  Two years and four months later, I have come to my senses and decided a throw was much more realistic.   Also, cotton is heavy as shit, and I would never be able to wash it, let alone get it finished in the first place.

I’m excited.  It’s been a while since I’ve made something just for me.  I guess it’s for the family, too, but what’s the fun in that?  The kids are already fighting over it, so I guess it won’t be just for me.  I can’t wait to show the finished product!  FYI this is the Mitered Square Blanket from the Mason Dixon Knitting book.  I’m using cheap cotton, and I’m quite happy with the results.  I’d love to do one in wool with a monochromatic theme.  The possibilities are endless!
